When God created the world, He created music. He created people in His image and gave us the ability to create and enjoy music. From love songs and folk songs to national anthems and marches, music holds a special place in the hearts of people around the world.

Swahili is the most common language spoken in Africa after Arabic and French. It is an official language of Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda. Many people also speak it in Angola, Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mozambique, Zambia, and other countries in Africa.

Elie Muhanano grew up speaking Swahili in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Music became Elie’s passion. He later moved to Rwanda and began teaching music to children. Elie said, “I love children so much, for me they are joy makers!” Elie composed this song in Swahili and English and recorded it at a studio in Rwanda.
